About GuildBuild

We help teams build data and AI systems they can actually live with.

GuildBuild is a Canadian consulting firm for organizations that want better reporting, cleaner data, and practical AI without losing control of the work. We are especially at home with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and the day-to-day problems that sit between business teams and technology teams.

Why we exist

Most teams do not need more dashboards. They need fewer surprises.

Many organizations already have the tools. They have reports, spreadsheets, cloud platforms, and AI ideas on the table. The hard part is making all of it dependable enough for people to use every week.

Our work is to turn scattered data and unclear workflows into something calmer: a shared view of the business, clear rules for how the system runs, and automation that supports people instead of confusing them.

What guides us

Simple principles, built into the work.

Good data comes first

Before AI can help, the numbers need to be clear. We help teams clean up reports, definitions, permissions, and handoffs so people can trust what they see.

Work should be easier to run

A useful system does more than show a chart. It helps the next person know what changed, what matters, and what action to take.

AI should have a clear job

We use AI for focused tasks like sorting requests, drafting next steps, watching for changes, and preparing summaries. People stay in charge of the decisions.

The guild idea

A good build needs the right people around the table.

The name GuildBuild comes from a simple belief: strong work is done by skilled people with clear roles, shared tools, and pride in the result. A data project should not feel like a handoff chain where everyone waits for someone else to fix the next problem.

We bring that spirit to modern business systems. We help shape the plan, build the first working version, document how it runs, and help your team take ownership. The goal is not dependency. The goal is a system your team understands.

How we work

Practical, documented, and measured.

  1. 01

Start with the messy parts of the work, not a sales deck.

  2. 02

Build a small useful version first, then improve it with real feedback.

  3. 03

Leave behind plain documentation, runbooks, and ownership notes.

  4. 04

Measure what changed so the work can be defended, maintained, and trusted.
