GuildBuild Data Lab

Public data, transformed with the evidence left visible.

Two free reference builds show how we approach analytics products: source-level timestamps, explicit freshness limits, accessible native charts, and measured models—or no model at all.

Reference builds using public data. Not operational, dispatch, settlement, financial, or legal advice.

Choose a build

Different cadences, one honesty standard.

If a required source is stale, its chart disappears. Fetch time is never presented as source data-as-of.

Ontario · Ten-minute source checks

Ontario Grid Reference

Ontario demand, post-Market-Renewal zonal prices, the official ICI peak tracker, and a next-day model shown only after accuracy gates pass.

  • Zero and negative zonal prices preserved
  • Initial, Preliminary, and Final tracker status retained
  • No alerts, dispatch advice, or customer-price claim

Canada · Monthly

Canada Retail Pulse

Seasonally adjusted retail sales, e-commerce share, CPI, USD/CAD, and the Bank of Canada policy rate, with reviewed monthly context.

  • Statistics Canada and Bank of Canada sources
  • Reference-period and release-cadence freshness
  • Human-reviewed commentary, never automated causal prose

Methodology standard

What the public layer is—and is not.

Source first

Every dataset carries source URLs, units, quality flags, licence notes, source timestamps, and fetch evidence.

Fail closed

Past a hard freshness limit, APIs return health metadata without chart data and the page suppresses the chart.

Measured or absent

A forecast appears only with its version, evaluation dates, MAE, MAPE, and baseline improvement.

Reference, not operations

This Lab is capability proof on public inputs—not a client portal, operational alert, or settlement system.
