Methodology
Real-time demand and zonal-price intervals join only on matching delivery date, hour ending, and five-minute interval. Blank future values remain absent; zero and negative prices remain unchanged.
The next-day model takes the median for each hour from the prior four matching weekdays, adjusted by a recent-level ratio capped at 0.90–1.10. The ratio is the mean demand on the latest complete day divided by the mean demand on the complete day seven days earlier. Rolling-origin evaluation uses the prior 60 calendar days against a same-hour-seven-days-ago baseline, without target-day or future observations.
Zonal energy price is one market component, not a customer's final bill. ICI tracker entries and the model are never operational alerts, settlement calculations, or facility curtailment advice.
